There are several classes of racing lawnmowers and this video shows them all. From low riding, sit behind and bounce yer bum standards to (you know it started on the farm) lawn tractor racing, you can’t help but enjoy the mowers racing along. Watch for a scary crash near the end, and some two wheelin’ mower racing throughout.
The Broadlands 2008 Lawnmower Racing event is part of the BLMRA, which stands for British Lawn Mower Racing Association. You just have to love their motto, ‘Through Grass to the Stars’, a “rye” twist perhaps?!!
